Edward John Gwynn (County Donegal, 1868-1941) was an Irish scholar of Old Irish and Celtic literature,〔Rosemary Cullen Owens ''Louie Bennett'' 2001 - Page 134 "John Gwynn was Regius Professor of Divinity in Trinity College Dublin, 1888-1917.
